Preparation steps

Rinse the scallions, cut off the ends and cut into 2 cm pieces. Rinse the apples, halve, remove the cores, cut into wedges and sprinkle with lemon juice.

Rinse the marjoram, chop and mix with the cream and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Rinse the potatoes, peel and thinly slice. Grease a quiche dish with butter. Alternately layer the apples, potatoes and scallions in the dish.

Pour in the mustard cream. Season with salt and pepper. Coarsely chop the bacon and sprinkle over the gratin. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake for about 50 minutes at 200°C (approximately 400°F). During the last 10 minutes of baking, cover the gratin with aluminum foil. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
