700 grams starchy potatoes
½ root Celery
2 carrots
1 Parsnip
1 stalk Leeks
1 onion
100 grams Smoked bacon
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 bay leaf
½ tsp Caraway
water
4 Hot dogs

Preparation steps

1.

Peel and dice the potatoes and celery. Peel and slice the carrots and parsnip. Rinse the leek and cut into rings. Peel and cut the onion into strips.

Finely dice the bacon and saute with the onion in hot oil. Add the potatoes, celery, carrots, parsnip and leek. Saute for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the spices. Pour in the water and simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes.

3.

Puree half of the soup. Mix with the remaining soup. Cut the sausages into pieces and add to the soup. Allow the sausages to get warm. Serve garnished with parsley and chives.
