300 grams red Tagliatelle
500 grams mussels (well scrubbed)
100 milliliters white wine
2 garlic cloves
1 onion
salt
freshly ground peppers
360 grams Tomatoes (canned)
40 grams black Olives (pitted)
fresh rosemary

Preparation steps

Peel garlic cloves and chop. Peel onion, trim and cut into fine strips. Cook tagliatelle in a pot with plenty of boiling salted water. Meanwhile cook mussels in a pot with wine, garlic and onion covered for 5 minutes (shake the pot occasionally during cooking time). Discard any mussels that do not open.

Drain tomatoes, cut into pieces and add to the pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Cut olives into slices. Drain pasta and immediately add to the pot. Mix well and serve immediately in deep plates with olives and rosemary.
