250 milliliters Almond milk
1 Cinnamon stick
50 grams Long grain rice
1 Tbsp raisins
1 Tbsp slivered almonds
1 Tbsp sugar
1 pinch salt

Preparation steps

Combine the milk, almond milk and cinnamon stick in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add the rice and reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Add most of the raisins during the last 5 minutes of cooking, reserving a few for garnish.

Toast the almonds in a dry skillet until fragrant.

Remove the cinnamon stick from the saucepan and stir in the sugar and a pinch of salt. Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with the toasted almonds and reserved raisins.
