- 800 kilograms waxy potatoes
- 3 grams Cooking pear
- 600 grams lean Pork belly (or pork shoulder)
- vegetable oil (for greasing the pan)
- salt
- peppers
- 1 tsp Caraway
- 600 milliliters Beef broth
- 1 Tbsp melted butter
Preparation steps

Rinse and peel the potatoes and pears. Thinly slice the potatoes. Cut the pears into quarters, remove the cores and slice thinly. Rinse the pork, pat dry and cut into 1.5 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) cubes. Layer half of the potatoes and pears into a well-greased baking dish and distribute half of the pork on top. Season with salt, pepper and caraway seeds, then layer the remaining potatoes, pears and pork on top. Season again with salt, pepper and caraway seeds and cover with the beef broth.

Preheat the oven to 220°C (approximately 425°F).

Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove from the oven, brush with melted butter and serve.
