Preparation steps

Remove the crust from the slices of bread, then cut the bread into 1-2 cm (approximately 1/2-3/4 inch) cubes. Heat the butter over medium heat in a pan. Toast the bread for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat, season with a little salt and pepper, and drain on paper towels.

Mix the pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Heat a pan, and add the seeds. Toast for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Remove from the heat, and let cool.
