Preparation steps

1.

Peel the cucumber, half lengthwise, remove the seeds, and cut into sticks. Slice the salmon lengthwise into thick strips about 0.5 cm (approximately 1/4 inch).

2.

Cut the nori sheets crosswise in half, spread with a little wasabi paste, and place on sushi rolling mats.  Place a layer of sushi rice over each of the nori sheets, pressing down until even. Place the salmon or cucumber on the edge of a nori sheet and shapes into a sushi roll. Repeat until all rolls complete.  Slice each of the sushi rolls into 6 equal pieces.
