- ¼ cup butter (softened)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 32 ozs potatoes (peeled and very finely sliced)
- 1 Tbsp dried, mixed Fresh herbs
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- ½ cup Cheese grated (optional)

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Peeler, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Pot mit Deckel, 1 Fine grater, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Large knife, 1 Cup, 1 Small bowl, 1 Whisk, 1 Teaspoon, 1 kleine Ladle
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180ºC (160º fan) 375ºF, gas 5.
2.
Grease the inside of a large ovenproof dish with a little of the butter and scatter in the garlic.
3.
Layer the potatoes into the dish, dotting with butter and seasoning with the herbs, salt and pepper as you go.
4.
Pour in the stock, cover with foil and bake in the oven for 1 hour.
5.
Remove the foil, scatter over the cheese if using, and return to the oven for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown.
