8 new potatoes (approx. 500 g | 3.333 cups) quartered lengthways
4 Tbsps olive oil
4 cups Green beans
0.333 cup Bacon (diced)
3 garlic cloves (roughly chopped)
2 scallions (just the white part, halved)
4 Steak (approx. 140 g each)

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven) 400°F, gas 6.
2.
Mix the potatoes with 2 tbsp olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and lay on a roasting tin. Roast in the oven for 15 minutes turning occasionally, until golden brown.
3.
Blanch the beans in boiling salt water for 8 minutes.
4.
Fry the bacon in a skillet. Add the garlic and the beans and season with salt and pepper and keep warm.
5.
Add the spring onions to the potatoes and cook for 10 more minutes.
6.
Fry the steaks in the remaining oil on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Season well with salt and ground black pepper, set aside and allow to rest.
7.
Slice the steaks and arrange on plates with the beans, spring onions and potatoes.
