15 cups ripe Apple (for 1.5 l juice, quartered, cored)
6 cups jam sugar (1:1)
4 Tbsps lemon juice
1 stick cinnamon
2 Star anise
3 cloves

Preparation steps

1.
Place the apples in a juicer and catch the juice. Warm the jars in hot water.
2.
Mix the juice, jam sugar and spices in a saucepan. Bring to the boil over a high heat, stirring constantly. Boil vigorously for approx. 4 minutes.
3.
Stir in the lemon juice and remove the pan from the heat. Remove the spices. Fill the jelly into the jars immediately.
4.
Twist the lids on tightly and cool upside down for approx. 10 minutes. Turn jars upright and leave to cool completely.
