Ingredients

- 2 kilograms Pork ribs (ready to cook)
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 100 milliliters Beef broth
- ½ organic Orange (juiced)
- 2 Tbsps Ketchup
- 2 Tbsps Tomato paste
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 Tbsp spicy Mustard
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp ground paprika
- ½ organic lemon (juiced)
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- salt
- Tabasco sauce
- freshly ground peppers
Preparation steps
Rinse spare ribs, pat dry, put in a pot and pour water until they are covered, bring to a boil. Peel and halve onion, peel one garlic clove and add to the pot. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan. Peel and chop onion and saute until translucent.
Add peeled and squeezed through a garlic press garlic and saute for a few seconds. Add broth and orange juice and reduce slightly. Add ketchup, tomato paste, honey, mustard, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, mix everything in a bowl. Add paprika, lemon juice and ginger and season with salt, pepper and a dash of Tabasco.
Remove spareribs from the pot and place on a hot grill. Brush with barbecue sauce and grill for about 15-20 minutes, turning meat occasionally. Baste with marinade often. Divide spareribs into individual ribs and arrange on plates. If desired, serve with coleslaw.
