4 Cardamom
2 cloves
1 Star anise
2 tsps Black tea (e. g. Assam)
cup milk
honey (to taste)

Preparation steps

Place the peppercorns, cinnamon stick, cardamom seeds, cloves, and the star anise in a pot with 2 cups water and bring to the boil. Simmer for around 10 minutes.

Remove from the heat and add the tea. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Transfer to glasses using a tea strainer.

Heat the milk and foam up using a whisk or a milk frother. Add to the glasses, sweeten with honey to taste and serve garnished with cloves.
