- 2 red Bell pepper
- 2 carrots
- 100 grams soybean sprout
- 200 grams Snow peas
- 2 onions
- 500 grams Beef (loin)
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds
- ½ Lime (juice)
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 2 Tbsps sweet and sour Chili sauce
- 2 Tbsps finely chopped cilantro
Preparation steps
Rinse the bell peppers, cut in half lengthwise, remove seeds and white ribs, and cut into thin strips. Peel the carrots and cut into very thin strips. Rinse the bean sprouts and drain in a colander. Rinse the snow peas and blanch in a pot of boiling salted water for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Peel the onions and chop into cubes. Rinse the beef, pat dry and cut into strips.
Heat the sesame oil in a skillet. Add the beef and cook until golden. Add the onions and carrots, and cook for 1-2 minutes, while stirring continuously. Add the bell peppers, snow peas, bean sprouts, lime juice, soy sauce and chili sauce. If necessary, add some water. Cook, while stirring, until all the vegetables are cooked, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in the cilantro.
Serve on plates. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
