Ingredients
25 ozs Sirloin steak (ready-to-cook)
2 red Bell pepper
1 small Broccoli
5 scallions
½ inch fresh ginger
1 clove garlic cloves
1 untreated Orange
2 Tbsps soybean oil
1 Tbsp light Sesame seeds
2 Tbsps dark soy sauce
1 Tbsp Oyster sauce
¼ tsp Sambal oelek

Preparation steps

1.
Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into thin strips. Wash the bell peppers and cut in half. Remove the seeds and the white membrane and cut into thin strips. Wash and clean the broccoli and divide into florets. Blanch in boiling, salted water for 2-3 minutes, then remove and place immediately into cold water. Drain well. Wash and clean the spring onions and cut diagonally into thin strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic and ginger. Wash the orange under boiling water and pat dry. Cut off the peel then thinly chop into fine strips. Squeeze out most of the juice.
2.
Stir-fry the meat in a heated wok with a little oil, then remove and place on one side. Fry the ginger, garlic, sesame seeds and orange strips briefly in the wok, then toss in the remaining vegetables and stir-fry for approx 2 minutes. Now add the meat and mix well and season to taste with soy sauce, oyster sauce, 1-2 tablespoons of orange juice and sambal oelek.
3.
Serve with rice.
