150 grams sugar
700 grams Strawberries
2 Tbsps lemon juice
2 Tbsps Orange liqueur
mint (for garnish)

Preparation steps

1.

Boil the sugar with 150 ml (approximately 1/2 cup) water until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Rinse and chop the strawberries. In a blender, puree the strawberries with the lemon juice and liqueur.

Strain the fruit puree through a fine sieve. Stir in the sugar syrup. Pour into a chilled bowl and let set for 5 hours in the freezer. For the first two hours, stir the mixture every 30 minutes. 

3.

Spoon the sorbet into glasses and serve garnished with mint.
