700 grams Strawberries
½ lemon (juice)

Preparation steps

In a saucepan, bring 150 ml (approximately 5 1/4 ounces) of water and the sugar to a boil and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.

Meanwhile, rinse, hull and chop the strawberries. Puree with the lemon juice in a blender and mix with the sugar syrup. Pour into a shallow dish freeze 5 hours, stirring every half hour. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the ice halfway through the freezing time. Serve the finished sorbet to taste with fresh strawberries.
