Strawberry Tiramisu
Ingredients
- For the tiramisu
- 500 grams fresh, ripe Strawberries
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 6 sheets white gelatin
- 250 grams Mascarpone
- 100 grams sugar
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla sugar
- 250 milliliters Whipped cream
- 2 Chocolate cake (approx 15x20 cm)
- To garnish
- 2 Tbsps Strawberry syrup
- Chocolate curl
- mint
Preparation steps
Rinse the strawberries, quarter and puree half with the lemon juice. Soak the gelatin in cold water. Mix the mascarpone, sugar and vanilla sugar. Dissolve the dripping wet gelatin in a pot. Mix in 2 tablespoons of fruit puree and pour into the rest of the puree. Stir the puree into the mascarpone. Beat the cream until stiff and fold into the mixture. Cut half of the remaining strawberries into small pieces and fold into the cream.
Place a chocolate sponge cake into the baking dish. Spread half of the strawberry cream on top. Place the second chocolate sponge cake on top and spread with the remaining cream. Place the remaining strawberries on top and chill for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
Sprinkle with syrup. Serve garnished with chocolate rolls and mint leaves.
