18 ozs sugar
3 cloves
1 tsp Coriander
1 inch fresh ginger
1 shredded cinnamon (cinnamon stick)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse blackberries and brush clean. Boil vinegar, sugar, cloves, ginger (peeled and chopped), coriander seed and cinnamon. Cook for about two minutes.

2.

Add blackberries to mixture and return to a boil. Immediately pour into prepared jars and cover. Let cool upside down.

Tip: To preserve the jam/sauce for longer, you will need to process the jars according to manufacturer's instructions.
