Nutritional values

The high-fibre raisins and wholemeal flour ensure a constant blood sugar level and keep you full for a long time. Raisins also contribute to the supply of iron, which plays an important role in blood formation and oxygen transport. Vitamin C from the orange ensures improved iron absorption and supports the immune system.

To reduce the amount of coconut blossom sugar and butter, you can replace some of the components with apple sauce. The ground hazelnuts can also be replaced with ground almonds or chopped walnuts as desired.

Combine the flour with the nuts and baking powder and add to the batter quickly. Fold in the apple-raisin mixture and spoon the batter into the pan. Bake for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let rest for about 30 minutes, then loosen the bread from the pan with a thin knife. Allow the bread to cool completely in the pan.
