- 6 ½ lbs Elderberry
- 1 l water (34 oz)
- 18 ozs sugar (per liter of juice)
Preparation steps

Remove the elderberries from the vine. Rinse the elderberries, drain thoroughly, and crush. Add the water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Place in a fine strainer lined with cheesecloth set over a pot. Drain the elderberry mixture overnight.

Weight the juice, and add 500 g sugar (approximately 18 ounces) per liter of juice. Bring to a boil, and cook for 15 minutes. Pour the juice into bottles and seal immediately. Dilute the juice to your desired taste.
