- 18 ozs rump or sirloin Steak
- salt
- peppers
- 4 Tbsps chopped mint
- 1 Red onion (sliced)
- 12 cherry Tomatoes (halved)
- ½ Cucumber (peeled and thinly sliced)
- For the dressing
- 1 red chili pepper (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (crushed)
- 2 Tbsps dark brown sugar
- 2 Limes (finely grated zest and juice)
- 4 Tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- To serve
- crisp Lettuce
Preparation steps

Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat a frying pan and cook the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side or until done to your liking. Remove from the pan and cut into strips.

Put the steak into a bowl with the mint, onion, tomatoes and cucumber.

For the dressing: mix all the ingredients together and pour into the bowl. Toss the steak and vegetables in the dressing and place on serving plates. Serve with lettuce.
