250 grams Tuna (in its own juice, tin)
2 Tomatoes
¼ Cucumber
8 small Lettuce
2 Tbsps cream cheese
4 Tbsps Quark
1 Tbsp freshly chopped Basil
salt
freshly ground peppers
lemon juice
8 slices Whole Wheat Toast

Preparation steps

1.

Drain tuna and flake with a fork. Rinse, core and thinly slice tomatoes. Rinse and thinly slice cucumber. Rinse and spin lettuce leaves dry.

2.

Mix cream cheese with quark and basil. Stir mixture with tuna and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

3.

Remove crusts from toast slices and top half of slices with some of the tuna salad. Divide tomatoes over tuna and top with remaining tuna salad. Top with cucumber slices and remaining toast slices. Cut sandwiches diagonally in half and serve.
