1 red Bell pepper
2 white onions
2 garlic cloves
100 milliliters white wine
300 milliliters Wine vinegar
1 tsp peppercorns
1 Tbsp Mustard seed
3 bay leaves
½ tsp salt
150 grams sugar

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the tomatoes and thinly slice crosswise. Rinse the peppers, remove the stem and seeds, and thinly slice into rings.

Peel the onions, and slice into rings. Peel and halve the garlic.

3.

Mix the white wine with the vinegar, garlic, peppercorn, mustard seeds, salt, sugar, and the bay leaves. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Cook for 5 minutes, then remove the garlic and bay leaves.

4.

Layer the peppers, tomatoes, and onion in 4 bowls, then cover with the boiling liquid. Let cool.
