4 ozs butter
5 Tbsps sugar
4 eggs (separated)
6 ozs Pastry flour
2 ozs Rye flour
3 Tbsps ground Oats
2 Tbsps Sesame seeds
2 Tbsps flaxseed
1 generous pinch Baking powder
8 ozs milk
1 pinch salt
vegetable oil (for greasing)
4 Tbsps chopped almonds

Preparation steps

1.

Stir butter with sugar and egg yolks until creamy. Gradually add  flour, sesame seeds, flax seeds and baking powder and stir in milk. Beat egg whites with pinch of salt until stiff and fold into batter at end.

2.

Preheat waffle iron and grease slightly. Add 2-3 tablespoons of batter and cook each waffle until golden brown. Repeat process until all batter is used. Serve waffles sprinkled with chopped almonds.
