Preparation steps

1.

Rinse artichokes, remove stem and tough outer leaves and cut off tips of leaves. Rinse lemon in hot water, pat dry and slice. Cook lemon slices and artichoke in a pot of salted boiling water for about 35 minutes. Artichokes are cooked when soft and leaves easily pull away.

2.

For the yogurt dip, rinse herbs and chop finely. Mix yogurt in a bowl with creme fraiche and season with salt and pepper. Peel garlic and squeeze through a press. Add garlic and herbs to the yogurt mixture and mix. Arrange artichokes on plates and serve with the yogurt sauce.
