150 grams Hazelnuts (finely chopped)
1 egg
1 Tbsp Hazelnut liqueur
2 Tbsps honey
3 Tbsps Whipped cream
Whipped cream (whipped, for serving)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse apples and pat dry. With a sharp knife, cut a top from the upper third of each apple in a zigzag pattern. With an apple corer, remove cores.

2.

Mix together hazenuts, egg, cream, liqueur and honey and stuff apples with mixture. Spread some of filling on the inside of apple tops. Replace tops on apples and press down to pack down stuffing.

3.

Place apples in a buttered baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F), 25-30 minutes.

Serve apples on plates, garnished with whipped cream.
