Ingredients
- Ingredients
- 400 grams Puff pastry dough
- 250 grams Quark
- 1 tsp freshly chopped ginger
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsps sugar
- 3 Banana
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 1 Vanilla bean
- 80 grams Lemon marmalade
Preparation steps
Preheat a convection oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll the puff pastry to a rectangle about 20 x 30 cm (approximately 8 x 12 inches). Transfer to the lined baking sheet. Mix the quark with ginger, egg, and sugar until blended, Spread in an even layer over the dough, except for a border about 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) around the edges of the dough.
Split the vanilla bean, scrape out the seeds, and add to the lemon marmalade in a small pot. Warm the marmalade over low heat until melted. Let the marmalade cool slightly.
Peel the banana and cut lengthwise into slices. Drizzle the banana slices with lemon juice. Lay the banana slices over the quark, overlapping them slightly, and brush with the vanilla-marmalade mixture. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Cut into slices and serve.
