4 Tbsps honey
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 pinch ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground cloves

Preparation steps

Cut off the ends of the pineapple and peel the pineapple. To do this, stand the pineapple on its end and cut off the peel in strips from top to bottom with a sharp knife. Then cut the pineapple into quarters lengthways, remove the hard core and cut the remaining fruit lengthways into slices/wedges. Thread on wooden skewers.

Melt the butter and stir in the sugar, lemon juice and spices. Grill the pineapple skewers, brushing with the butter mixture and turning frequently, until evenly browned. Take off the grill, put into a shallow dish and pour the warmed rum over the pineapple skewers. Flambe and serve.
