Preparation steps

1.

Cut the beef roast into slices. Rinse the lime, pat dry and grate the zest. Peel the lime, cut into fine strips, and squeeze the juice. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Place the beef slices with lime zest, lime juice, onion and oil in a bowl. Peel and squeeze the garlic through a press, and mix well with beef slices. Cover the bowl and let beef slices marinate overnight.

2.

Place the marinated beef along with the marinade in a non-stick pan and cook for 12-15 minutes. Pour in some water.

3.

Cook the red lentils in salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and allow to drain completely. Cut the pomegranate into haf and detach the seeds. Collect the pomegranate juice. Mix the pomegranate seeds and juice to the beef. Season with salt and pepper.

4.

Arrange the lentils with a dollop of yogurt on the plates and serve with the beef slices and pomegranate seeds.
