Preparation steps

Peel, grate and salt the daikon radish. Infuse for about 10 minutes. Rinse the chives and shake dry. Set aside some stalks for garnishing if desired and cut the remainder in rolls. Peel the onion and chop finely. Cut the Camembert into small cubes and finely crush in a bowl with a fork. Stir in the butter and the chopped onion. Express the radish and mix in the quark. Add 1-2 teaspoons chives, stir everything and season with salt, pepper and caraway seeds.

Trim the radishes, rinse and cut into slices as desired. Cut the baguette into slices and spread with the daikon Camembert spread. Top with radish slices and serve garnished with chives.
