150 grams Pastry flour
50 grams ground almonds
75 grams sugar
1 pinch cinnamon
100 grams cold butter
180 grams Sour cherry (frozen, pitted)
35 Wafer 3-4 cm (approximately 1-2 inches) diameter
powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Mix the flour with the almonds, sugar and cinnamon and, with the butter, mix until crumbly. Coarely chop the frozen cherries (possibly in the food processor) and mix quickly with the streusel.

Lay the thin baking wafers apart from one another on a baking sheet lined with parchement paper and put the cherry streudel mixture on top, in small piles. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Let cool and remove to a wire rack.

4.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, as desired, and serve.
