Ingredients
- For the dough
- 250 grams Pastry flour
- 20 grams Yeast
- ⅛ l lukewarm water
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- salt
- For topping
- 400 grams Tomatoes
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 200 grams Chicken breasts (thinly sliced)
- 100 grams Bacon (cubed)
- 150 grams Fontina cheese
Preparation steps
Pour the flour into a bowl and make a well in the center. Add the yeast and a little water to the well, mix it with the flour and let sit for 15 minutes. Add the remaining water, salt and oil and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let sit for 1 hour in a warm place.
Blanch the tomatoes, rinse with cold water, peel and cut into small cubes. Briefly boil in a pot with 1 tablespoon of oil. Season with thyme, salt and pepper. Lightly grease a pizza pan. Knead the dough again, roll out and place in the pan, leaving the edge slightly thicker. Preheat the oven to 250°C (approximately 480°F). Spread the tomato sauce on the dough and distribute chicken and bacon evenly on it. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
