Nutritional values
Dried dates can be useful when falling asleep. They provide the amino acid tryptophan, which helps in the production of melatonin. The hormone regulates our day-night rhythm and ensures a peaceful sleep. Due to the high content of B vitamins that almonds provide, they are a real brain food and promote concentration.
There are no limits to creativity when it comes to the ingredients of the date energy balls. For example, the almonds can be replaced with other nuts as desired; peanuts for a slightly salty note or hazelnuts work well, for example. Other dried fruits such as cranberries or dried berries are also a great addition.
