- 1 ¾ ozs dried Figs
- 8 ¼ ozs dried Apricot
- 3 ½ ozs dried Date (pitted)
- 1 ¾ ozs ground almonds (3 TBSP.)
- 1 oz old fashioned Oats (4 TBSP.)
- ½ Orange
- ½ oz dark cocoa powder (2 tablespoons)
- 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
Preparation steps
Chop figs, apricots and dates very finely with a blitz chopper or large knife and place in a bowl.
Rinse orange half, rub dry, grate peel and squeeze out juice. Add almonds, oats, orange zest and juice, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, and cinnamon to the dried fruit. Knead everything well until a homogeneous mass is formed.
Form 15 small balls from the mixture with your hands. Put the remaining cocoa powder on a plate and roll the balls in it to coat completely.
