Preparation steps

1.

Toast walnuts in a dry frying pan, sprinkle with powdered sugar, let caramelize, remove from the pan, place on parchment paper and allow to dry.

Rinse figs, cut crosswise (do not cut completely through) and create a pocket. Cut blue cheese into small cubes and mix in a bowl with cream cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Put blue cheese mixture in a piping bag and inject into the middle of each fig. Arrange filled figs on a plate and serve garnished with one caramelised walnut half in each fig.
