4 Steak fillet (each 200 grams)
2 Tbsps Corn oil
salt
4 centiliters Cognac

Preparation steps

1.

Heat the oil in a pan. Place the steaks in the oil and cook 1 minute over high heat.

2.

Reduce the heat and cook on both sides for about 4 minutes. Remove from pan and season with salt. Drain the oil from the pan.

3.

Increase the temperature, add the peppercorns and sauté briefly.

4.

Deglaze with cognac and ignite with a match. Pour over the steak and serve.
