- Ingredients
- 120 grams Ladyfinger
- 100 grams Quark
- 1 Tbsp Lime juice
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 Tbsp brown Rum
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 2 small Apple (each 125 grams)
- 10 grams raisins
- ½ tsp Ground cinnamon
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 eggs
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Preparation steps
1.
Break the ladyfingers coarsely and not in too fine pieces. Mix the quark with the lime juice, egg yolks, rum and honey mix. Peel the apples, remove cores and cube small. Stir about half of the crumbs, the apples, raisins and cinnamon into the quark mixture. Possibly put in more crumbs, mix until the mixture is easy to shape. Then with hands form 12-16 small balls and let freeze in the freezer for about 45 minutes.
2.
Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 170°C (340°F). Whisk the egg. Pull the balls through the eggs and roll in the remaining biscuit crumbs. Fry in the hot oil for a few minutes until golden brown, drain on paper towels and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
