- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 rosemary
- 150 milliliters Red wine
- 150 milliliters olive oil
- 1 kilogram Beef fillet (piece)
- salt
- peppers
- 6 Tomatoes
Preparation steps

Peel garlic and onion, chop finely and mix with lemon juice, red wine, oil, salt and pepper to taste and herbs. Rinse meat, pat dry, and coat with the marinade in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight to marinate.

Take meat out of refrigerator 2 hours before you plan to serve it. Drain well, pouring the marinade through a sieve. Truss meat with kitchen twine, place in a grill pan, distribute collected onions and garlic over the meat and sear on the preheated grill 1 minute. Slide grill pan to the side and cook covered for 15 minutes on indirect heat.

Remove from grill and let meat rest for 5 minutes. Rinse tomatoes, halve and grill on the grill grate for 5 minutes. Cut beef and serve with the tomatoes.
