Preparation steps

1.

Season ground beef with salt and pepper and knead to combine. Form 8 patties. Rinse lettuce and pat dry. Peel onions and cut into thin rings. Slice pickles. Rinse and slice tomatoes. Brush grates of grill with oil and grill patties over high heat, about 4 minutes per side.

Slice buns and toast on the edge of the grill. To serve, layer buns with pickles, onion, tomato and lettuce. Top with burgers and season with salt, pepper and ketchup.
