Ingredients
for
4
- Ingredients
- 1 large Pear
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- 200 milliliters dry white wine
- 2 handfuls Arugula
- 12 slices ham (such as Parma)
- 6 large dried Figs
- 80 grams creamy Blue cheese (such as Gorgonzola)
- 1 Tbsp Whipped cream
- freshly ground peppers
Preparation steps
1.
Peel pear peel, remove the core and cut into wedges. Drizzle with lemon juice and poach in white wine until soft, 6-8 minutes. Then lift out, drain with a slotted spoon and let cool. Rinse arugula, trim and remove tough stems. Top a few arugula leaves with a pear slice and wrap in ham. Make about 6 rolls in this manner.
2.
Wrap the dried figs with remaining slices of ham and stick with toothpicks. Mash the blue cheese with the cream in a small bowl with a fork. Place small dabs of the cheese on the figs and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
3.
Serve both appetizers on a platter.
