12 whole lemons
2 sprigs rosemary
850 grams jam sugar
120 milliliters gin

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse 6 of the lemons, pat dry and finely grate the zest. Juice the lemons until about 700 ml (approximately 3 cups) is yielded. 

2.

Combine the lemon juice, zest, rosemary sprigs and jam sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring. 

3.

Boil for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in the gin. Ladle into prepared glass jars, seal and allow to cool completely.
