200 grams Lentils
6 Tomatoes
400 grams potatoes
200 grams Debrecener sausage (or pork sausage)
1 onion
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves
800 milliliters Beef broth
salt
1 Tbsp Wine vinegar
peppers (from the mill)
2 Tbsps parsley (chopped)

Preparation steps

1.

Wash lentils and drain.

2.

Blanch tomatoes. Peel, quarter, core and dice.

3.

Cut debrecziner (or pork sausage) into slices.

4.

Peel and chop the onion and garlic. In hot oil fry and pour in the broth. Add lentils and potatoes and cover, stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes. Simmer. Then add sausage and tomatoes and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Season with vinegar, salt, and pepper

To serve: Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with parsley.
