2 ¾ ozs Sunflower seed
7 ozs old fashioned Oats
3 ½ ozs steel cut Oats
5 ½ ozs chopped almonds
1 ¾ ozs Coconut flakes
3 ½ ozs Whole grain Rice flake
2 ¾ ozs Sesame seeds
3 ½ ozs whole cane sugar
1 ¾ ozs sugar beet syrup
5 ¼ ozs butter
5 ¼ ozs apple sauce (without added sugar)
2 ¾ ozs raisins

Preparation steps

1.

Coarsely chop nuts. Mix with sunflower seeds, oat flakes, almonds, coconut and rice flakes, sesame seeds and whole cane sugar in a mixing bowl.

Melt sugar beet syrup and butter in a saucepan over low heat for about 3 minutes and add to remaining ingredients with applesauce. Chop the raisins and add to the mixture.

Spread mixture evenly on a baking tray lined with baking paper to a thickness of approx. 1-inch. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C /350 °F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

4.

Remove pastry from oven, cut into small bars and let cool on a cooling rack.
