Nutritional values
Good news for bakers in a hurry - by using baking powder (instead of the usual yeast) this will save a lot of waiting time during preparation. This recipe is a good source of calcium and magneisum. A bread roll, for example, puts about 10 percent of the daily recommended amount of magnesium on the plate.
The high protein content of low-fat cream cheese helps build muscle and prevents the body from breaking down muscle mass instead of fat when dieting.

Preparation steps
Melt the butter in a pot and let cool.
Beat the cream cheese, egg, salt, and butter until smooth with a mixer fitted with whisk attachments.
Beat in the flour and baking powder. Change to the dough hook and mix until a smooth dough forms.
Knead the dough with your hands on the work surface for about 3 minutes.
Cover dough and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
Cut the dough into 15 equal pieces. Roll the pieces with your hands into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Carve a cross in top of each ball with a sharp knife, then brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover and let rest for about 10 minutes.
Place a deep baking pan on the lower rack of a preheated oven to 425°F/convection 400°F and fill with about 1 cup water. Place the baking sheet with the buns on the middle rack, reduce heat to 350°F/convection 325°F until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
