What are SUPERFOODS?

SUPERFOODS are "whole" foods that have a high nutritional density, which means they provide a significant amount of nutrients, but very few calories. These foods are high in micronutrients like vitamins, minerals, enzymes, healthy fats, and antioxidants.

The majority SUPERFOODS are plant-based but the list also includes some dairy and fish. Studies have shown that SUPERFOODS high in antioxidants and flavonoids can help prevent coronary heart disease and cancer, improve immunity and decrease inflammation, as well as helping you maintain a healthy weight.
