- Ingredients
- 2 Tbsps Caper
- 150 grams black and green Olives (pitted)
- 1 garlic clove
- 200 grams Quark
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 Tbsps grated Parmesan
- salt
- peppers
- 300 grams Puff pastry dough
Preparation steps
1.
Drain and finely chop the capers and olives. Peel and finely chop the garlic. In a bowl, stir the capers, olives and garlic with the cottage cheese, 1 egg yolk and Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2.
Preheat a convection oven to 200°C (approximately 390°F).
3.
Roll the puff pastry out and cut into 12 x 12 cm (approximately 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inch) squares. Spread the filling in the middle of each square and fold the corners over until touching in the center. Press to adhere. Brush with water if necessary to help dough stick. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with the remaining egg yolk. Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
4.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm or cold.
