Preparation steps

1.

Thaw peas. Peel carrot, kohlrabi and potatoes and cut into 1-2 cm (approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch) cubes. Peel and finely chop onion. In a pot, cook onion in butter until translucent. Stir in prepared vegetables and broth. Simmer about 10 minutes. Add peas and simmer 5-7 minutes more. Remove about 1/3 of the vegetables. Stir in cream and puree soup with an immersion blender. Return vegetables to soup and season with salt and pepper. Cut hot dogs into slices, add to soup, and heat until warmed through.
