1 pinch salt
200 grams sugar
½ tsp Lemon peel
2 egg whites

Preparation steps

Combine almonds and chopped pine nuts, season with salt, sugar and lemon zest. Mix well in a bowl. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into nut mixture.

With a tablespoon, place small mounds of batter into a muffin tray lined with muffin paper cups. Sprinkle with pine nuts and press lightly. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for 10-15 minutes. Remove from and let cool. Serve.
