1 kilogram potatoes
200 milliliters Whipped cream
300 milliliters milk

300 grams Salmon
150 grams grated Cheese (such as Gouda)

Preparation steps

Peel and thinly slice the potatoes. Bring the cream and milk to a boil in a large saucepan. Add the potatoes slices. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Rinse the parsley, shake dry, pluck the leaves and chop. Thinly slice the salmon. Remove the potatoes from the cream mixture and layer in a baking dish with the salmon. Sprinkle some of the cheese and parsley between each layer. Whisk the remaining cream mixture and eggs. Spread the egg-cream over the gratin and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for about 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
