Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Rinse cabbage, remove outer leaves, cut into six wedges and remove stalks. Blanch cabbage wedges in salted water for about 10 minutes. Rinse wedges with cold water and drain well. Finely grate cheese. Cut ham into thin strips. Rinse scallions and cut into thin rings. Grease ovenproof  baking dish with butter. Arrange cabbage wedges in baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle grated cheese, ham strips, scallion rings and sunflower seeds over cabbage wedges and drizzle with cream. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
